【摘要】:Usethemaximumenergyinputratetesttoconfirmthatthebraisingpanisoperatingwithin5%ofthemanufacturer''sratedinputsothattestingmaycontinue.Thistestmethodalsomaydiscloseanyproblemswiththeelectricpowersupplyorgasservicepressure.Themaximuminputratecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorsformanagingpowerdemand.Thecapacitytestdeterminesthemaximumvolumeoffoodproductthepancanholdandtheamountoffoodproductthatwillbeusedinsubsequenttests.Foodserviceoperatorscanusetheresultsofthistestmethodtoselectabraisingpan,whichisappropriatelysizedfortheiroperation.Productioncapacityisusedbyfoodserviceoperatorstochooseabraisingpanthatmatchestheirfoodoutput.Heatupenergyefficiencyandsimmerenergyrateallowtheoperatortoconsiderenergyperformancewhenselectingabraisingpan.Usethesurfacetemperatureuniformitytoselectabraisingpansuitableforgriddlingapplications.Usethepilotenergyratetoestimateenergyconsumptionforgas-firedbraisingpanswithstandingpilotsduringnon-cookingperiods.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheenergyconsumptionandcookingperformanceofbraisingpans.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectabraisingpanandunderstanditsenergyconsumptionandperformancecharacteristics.Note18212;Braisingpansalsoarecommonlyreferredtoastiltingskillets.ThistestmethodusesthetermbraisingpaninaccordancewithSpecificationF1047.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoself-containedgasorelectricbraisingpans.Thebraisingpancanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing,whereapplicable:1.2.1Maximumenergyinputrate(10.2).1.2.2Capacity(10.3).1.2.3Heatupenergyefficiencyandenergyrate(10.4).1.2.4Productioncapacity(10.4).1.2.5Simmerenergyrate(10.5).1.2.6Surfacetemperatureuniformity,optional,(10.6).1.2.7Pilotenergyrate(10.7).1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
