【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforelectricalliquidlevelindicatingequipmentforshipboardlowpressureandhighpressuretankscontainingfreshwater,feedwater,potablewater,seawater,wastewater,dieselfuel,lubricatingoil,contaminatedoil,refrigerants,JPfuels,andvariousotherfluids.Applicationincludescompensatingtanksinwhichtheequipmentmustlocatetheinterface.Eachliquidlevelindicatingequipmenttypicallyconsistsofthefollowingcomponents:(a)Oneormoresensingdevices;(b)Flexibleinterconnections,ifneeded;(c)Primaryindicatorpanelassembly;(d)Auxiliaryindicatorpanelassembly,whenrequired;and(e)Portableindicatorpanelassembly,whenrequired.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Whereinformationistobespecified,itshallbestatedinSIunits.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecialrequirementsfornavalshipboardapplicationsareincludedintheSupplementtothisstandard.
