【摘要】:Thedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionisanessentialrequirementincrudeoilassay.Thisinformationcanbeusedtoestimaterefineryyieldsand,alongwithotherinformation,toevaluatetheeconomicsofusingoneparticularcrudeasopposedtoanother.ResultsobtainedbythistestmethodareequivalenttothoseobtainedfromTestMethodD2892.(SeeAppendixX1.)ThistestmethodisfasterthanTestMethodD2892andcanbeusedwhenonlysmallvolumesofsamplesareavailable.Also,thistestmethodgivesresultsupto538x00B0;CwhileTestMethodD2892islimitedto400x00B0;C.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofwater-freecrudepetroleumthrough538176;C(1000176;F).Materialboilingabove538176;Cisreportedasresidue.Thistestmethodisapplicabletowholecrudesamples,thatcanbesolubilizedinasolventtopermitsamplingbymeansofamicrosyringe.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin7.2,7.5,7.6,7.7,and7.9.
