【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationcoversperformancerequirements,testmethodsandmarkingrequirementstopromotesafeuseofastationaryactivitycenterbyanoccupant.1.2Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationisintendedtominimizetheriskofincidentstoanoccupantresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofastationaryactivitycenter.1.3Nostationaryactivitycenterproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.4Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationisnotintendedtoaddressincidentsandinjuriesresultingfromtheinteractionofotherpersonswiththechildoccupantinthestationaryactivitycenterortheincidentsresultingfromabuseandmisusebychildrenabletowalk.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisconsumersafetyperformancespecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
